What is this blog about?

We are a hyper-busy family of five living in the SF Bay Area. Mom and Dad have busy jobs, kids have busy school schedules, and the dog has his needs!

We are using daily standups around the dinner table to help us live our lives better and keep the stress to the minimum. Standups are used very often by agile software development teams (Dad is a software engineer) to deliver projects in a predictable manner and make the teams self-managed.

Our team is the Family and the objective of the standups is to make sure everybody is on the same page at all times and the kids are able to manage themselves.

This experiment was started from Nov 11, after Dad and AD had a big fight on way to school, due to mis-communication and bad expectations.
